And in turn learn about myself and what I want out of a relationship. What I wanted 10 yrs ago is different from what I want today.

I am very shy by nature, but I’m the one who’s always advising my friends on their love lives. I’ve learned a lot just watching and more often than not, it usually happens the way I call it. And I’ve had my own share of dating experiences here and there. It’s really a process of elimination!

Slick Rick is my name and fixing your love life is my game. I’m not going to sit here and say I’m the best there is, because I have made many mistakes in my life. I will tell you that I have been through many crazy situations in my life. I feel that if my own personal knowledge and reflections can help someone else out, then it’s my duty to pass the info along.

I have been in many different types of relationships from the one night stands, to the ‘stage 5 clingers’, to the girl that is cheating on her boyfriend with me, to the long distance girl, and to my current relationship of trust, honesty, and true love. I can’t imagine what people think when I say all of those types of relationships, but the truth of the matter is that you all know they exist. And you all know what I’m talking about!

I am currently going on three years with my girlfriend and I’ll just say that it has been a bumpy ride. Nothing in this world comes easy, especially when it comes to developing the ‘perfect’ relationship. Everything requires hard work, dedication, and effort. Once I realized these things, my relationship virtually went from dead in the water to know that this is the woman that I am going to marry.

I have many stories as to how my relationship has gotten to the stage it is currently at. But you will have to continue to follow me to find out the story. Hello, my name is Aubrey Kane. I am divorced with no children. I have been in the dating world on and off for the last 9 years. My views on dating have changed so much throughout my life, all the way from dating for that long term relationship for marriage, to dating just for fun. How you date and your views of dating, I believe, all depend on what stage of life you are in, your views on life, and your past experiences. Relationships take work, time, and money, and also can be emotionally draining, as well as risky.
